Eurostar ranks as Europe's worst rail operator due to high prices and poor reliability, new study finds.

A new study by Transport and Environment (T&E) ranks Eurostar as Europe's worst rail operator due to high ticket prices and poor reliability. The report, which evaluated 27 operators, found that despite Eurostar's high costs, it ranks only 14th in reliability. Italy's Trenitalia and Austria's OBB were praised for their better price-quality ratio. The study highlights that only 11 out of 25 operators achieve punctuality rates above 80%, urging for improvements in rail services across Europe.
