Tyler O'Neill, the 29-year-old outfielder who hit 31 home runs last season for the Boston Red Sox, has agreed to a $49.5 million, three-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles. The deal, pending a successful physical, will pay O'Neill $16.5 million annually, with an opt-out clause after the first year. His signing leaves the Red Sox needing to replace his right-handed production.
