Singapore plans to introduce Chinese dialect classes like Hokkien and Cantonese for migrant domestic workers to improve communication with employers. The Center for Domestic Employees (CDE) will also offer advanced caregiving training and mental health support, including free counseling and workshops. Over 294,900 migrant domestic workers, representing 19% of Singapore's foreign workforce, will benefit from these initiatives.
