14-year-old Cara Darmody, a disability rights advocate from Co Tipperary, Ireland, thanked actor Colin Farrell for flying her to Chicago to speak at his foundation's event, which supports families with intellectual disabilities. Darmody, whose brothers are autistic and non-verbal, has secured €17 million in government funding and criticized the delays in assessments and support services in Ireland. She will also be featured in a documentary airing in Europe.
