Gorakhpur, India, is set to become the country's first Integrated Waste Management City by September 2025, aiming to be garbage-free. Spanning 40 acres in Suthni village, the project will process various waste types, including biomedical, e-waste, and plastic, through three dedicated plants producing charcoal and Bio-CNG. The initiative, expected to create jobs and boost revenue, will also serve as a learning center and cater to eight neighboring urban areas, advancing regional sustainability.
