Broomfield High's football team won the 4A state title, overcoming a 21-point deficit led by QB Darien Jackson.
In a dramatic turn, Broomfield High School's football team secured the 4A state title, rallying from a 21-point deficit, thanks largely to quarterback Darien Jackson. Jackson, who finished the season with 1,829 passing yards, nearly transferred but stayed, gaining 30 pounds of muscle and leading his team to victory in all but one game. He will attend Concordia College in Minnesota, aiming to continue his football career.
