American figure skater Amber Glenn wins the Grand Prix Final, first woman to do so in 14 years.

Amber Glenn, a 25-year-old figure skater, became the first American woman in 14 years to win the Grand Prix Final, a significant victory in her unbeaten 2024-25 season that started with her first U.S. national title in January. Glenn scored 212.07 points, surpassing Japan's Mone Chiba and Kaori Sakamoto. The U.S. could also win in the men's event and ice dance later that day.
