Nebraska Governor unveils Gandhi bust, first in state to receive tribute from Indian Consulate.

Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen unveiled a bust of Mahatma Gandhi, gifted by the Indian Consulate in Seattle, making Nebraska the first state under its jurisdiction to receive such a tribute. Governor Pillen also declared December 6 as a day of remembrance for Gandhi, highlighting his principles of peace and love. The bust will be displayed in the Capitol for public viewing.
