Major investors reduced their stakes in Ameren, a utility firm, by selling significant shares.

Investment firm Yaupon Capital Management LP reduced its holdings in Ameren Corporation by 25.8% in the third quarter, selling 96,713 shares. Similarly, Zimmer Partners LP trimmed its position by 27.6%, selling 1,129,023 shares. Ameren, a public utility holding company, has a market cap of $24.51 billion and pays a quarterly dividend of $0.67 per share, set to be distributed on December 31st. Institutional investors hold 79.09% of Ameren's stock, and recent analyst reports have been mostly positive, with an average price target of $89.00.
