Delhi Police arrested a 20-year resident for drug trafficking as part of a month-long anti-drug campaign.

Delhi Police arrested Ram Tamang, a 20-year resident of Delhi, on December 4 as part of a month-long anti-drug campaign launched on December 1. Police recovered two kilograms of cannabis worth approximately Rs 10 lakhs from Tamang, who had previously been involved in selling small packets of cannabis. The police are committed to a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics and are using the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act to combat drug trafficking.
