Chinese prosecutors have charged over 114,000 in duty crimes and 16,000 for bribery since 2018.

Since 2018, Chinese procuratorates have prosecuted over 114,000 individuals in duty-related criminal cases and more than 16,000 for bribery. The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) disclosed this at a recent meeting. In 2023, courts concluded 24,000 such cases, a 19.9% increase from the previous year. Additionally, illegal income from 163 suspects who fled or died was confiscated.
