Chattanooga agencies combat brush fire on Lookout Mountain using specialized vehicles and drones.
Chattanooga Fire Department and other agencies responded to a brush fire on Lookout Mountain on Saturday, December 7, around 6:46 a.m. The fire broke out in the 700 block of S. Scenic Highway, with no reported injuries or structural damages. Due to challenging terrain, brush trucks, UTVs, and drones are being used. The incident has been handed over to the National Park Service and Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry, which will use helicopters to help extinguish the fire.
