Afghanistan's interim government has renewed its electricity import contract with Turkmenistan for 2025, aiming to stabilize power supply. The country currently produces around 300 Megawatts domestically and imports 620 Megawatts, facing daily power shortages of up to 10 hours in Kabul. To tackle this, the government is exploring solar energy, gas power, and dam construction.
