Temasek launches a $10 billion private credit platform to tap into the growing $2.6 trillion market by 2029.

Singapore's state investor, Temasek, has launched a private credit platform with an initial portfolio of S$10 billion, managed by 15 professionals in New York, London, and Singapore. This move follows the rapid growth in the private credit market, expected to reach $2.6 trillion by 2029 from $1.5 trillion in 2023, due to stricter regulations on traditional lenders. Led by Nicolas Debetencourt, the platform aims to capitalize on direct investments and credit funds in the expanding sector.
