Postal worker admits to defrauding COVID relief programs, receiving $66K in illegal benefits.

A postal worker from Denham Springs, Louisiana, Myaika Gross, pleaded guilty to defrauding COVID-19 relief programs. Gross falsely claimed to be laid off in five different states and received around $66,000 in pandemic unemployment benefits and a PPP loan she was not entitled to. The fraud occurred while she worked for the USPS from May 2020 to June 2021.
