Mesa Community College locked down briefly due to a nearby car chase following a domestic dispute.
Mesa Community College was locked down briefly on Thursday due to a nearby incident involving a high-speed car chase after a domestic dispute. A woman left with another man, leading the original man to pursue them, resulting in a crash and an assault before he fled. The college and initially Banner Desert Medical Center were put on lockdown as a precaution, though the latter confirmed it was not officially locked down. The lockdown was lifted after about 30 minutes, and the area returned to normal.
