Intel adds semiconductor veterans to its board amid search for new CEO and declining stock.

Intel has added semiconductor veterans Eric Meurice, former ASML CEO, and Steve Sanghi, Microchip's interim CEO, to its board, as it searches for a new CEO following Pat Gelsinger's departure. Both have past experience at Intel. The company is struggling to keep up with advanced chipmaking rivals like Nvidia and TSMC. The next CEO will need manufacturing and product experience, according to interim co-CEO David Zinsner. Intel's stock has fallen nearly 60% this year.
