Beloit police seek owner of ashes found in a local movie theater, ask for public help.

The Beloit Police Department is trying to return an urn containing ashes found in a local movie theater in mid-to-late September. The urn was initially kept by the theater before being handed to the police in October. To help reunite the urn with its owner, the police ask anyone with information to call the evidence room at 608-364-6834 and provide the report number BE2439475 along with a description of the urn.
