BART temporarily halted service through the Transbay Tube on Thursday following a 7.0 magnitude earthquake off the Humboldt County coast, which also prompted a tsunami warning. Service was resumed after the warning was lifted, but significant delays were expected systemwide. The earthquake, which struck at 10:44 a.m., was felt across Northern California and into Oregon. The extent of any damage is still unknown.
