Watercare has restored the Pukekohe Water Treatment Plant in New Zealand, severely damaged by floods in 2022, which now supplies up to five million liters of water daily to local communities. The company spent around $4 million to upgrade and reconfigure the plant to reduce future flood risks, including raising key equipment and installing underground ducts. Further upgrades to the chemical dosing system are planned for early 2025.
