Tejas Networks, an Indian telecom company, is supplying equipment for Tamil Nadu's BharatNet Last Mile Connectivity project, aiming to provide affordable high-speed internet to about 50,000 government institutions, public health centers, and schools. The project also plans to extend Fiber to the Home services to rural households through local partnerships. Tejas Networks will use its GPON technology for this initiative, implemented by TANFINET with Polycab India as the main integrator.
