Nine birds from a backyard flock near Pearl Harbor were euthanized due to a connection with an avian flu case from Susie's Duck Sanctuary. Two of the birds were adopted from the sanctuary, and seven others from the same flock were euthanized due to potential exposure. The sanctuary's ducks were quarantined at a veterinary hospital. The area has been decontaminated, and no further infections have been reported since November 25.
