New Zealand's building activity drops, with residential construction hitting a four-year low.

Building activity in New Zealand fell 3.2% in the September quarter, with residential work dropping 3.5% to its lowest level in four years at $4.8 billion, and non-residential work down 2.8% to $2.9 billion. The total value of building work declined 2.6% to $35 billion from the previous year, despite a 6.4% rise in non-residential projects over the year due to growth in health, office, and factory building.
