King Mohammed VI of Morocco chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers where progress on the country's bid to co-host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal was discussed. The bid received a high score from FIFA, indicating a strong chance of success. The council also approved six international conventions to enhance cooperation with other countries and appointed Zouhair Chorfi as the new Chairman of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority.
