Egypt launched eSIM technology today, allowing mobile users to activate digital SIM cards without physical replacements. Available at WE and Orange branches, eSIMs offer enhanced security and convenience, including international roaming. New eSIMs cost EGP 330 via WE and EGP 350 via Orange, while replacements cost EGP 270 and EGP 300 respectively. This rollout aims to boost telecommunication efficiency and aligns with Egypt's commitment to modernizing its telecom sector.
