Cambodia saw a 21% increase in air passengers to nearly 5 million in the first 10 months of 2024, with a 14% rise in flights. Air cargo volume also increased by 37% to over 63,000 tonnes. The newly operational Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is expected to attract more international airlines and passengers, boasting a runway that can handle most aircraft types.
