A 36-year-old woman from Penticton, British Columbia, Krysta-Lyn Williams, was arrested in Picton, Ontario, in connection with a $60,000 meat scam.
The fraud involved a fake company named DBL Meats, which took payments from 16 complainants for meat not delivered.
Williams was charged with fraud over $5,000 on November 20, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She will appear in court in Airdrie, Alberta, this week.
