Saudi Aramco, Linde, and Schlumberger are developing a major carbon capture hub in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Aramco, Linde, and Schlumberger have signed an agreement to develop a carbon capture and storage hub in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The hub, expected to be operational by late 2027, will capture up to 9 million metric tons of CO2 annually, supporting Aramco's goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 and aligning with Saudi Arabia's 2060 net-zero target. Aramco holds a 60% stake, with the other two companies holding 20% each.
