Punjab's cabinet condemns violence by PTI protesters and approves compensation and security measures.

Punjab's Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, condemned PTI workers' violent attacks on security forces during recent protests. They approved compensation packages for martyred and injured police and Rangers, totaling Rs 29 million and Rs 1 million each, respectively. The Cabinet also plans to establish a 10,000-strong security force to combat future riots and approved measures to declare kite flying a non-bailable offense. Additionally, they resumed the Horse and Cattle Show with a Rs 1.5 billion allocation and approved a Rs 3.44 billion budget for model bazaars in 13 districts.
