Around 700 prisoners, including at least 70 high-risk inmates, remain at large after mass jailbreaks in Bangladesh during the summer's student-led revolution that ousted former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Approximately 2,200 inmates escaped from five prisons, with about 1,500 recaptured. Authorities continue to search for the remaining escapees while monitoring "top terrorists" who were granted bail.
