Nigeria marks one year since a military drone strike killed 85 at a religious festival, including a child.

One year after a Nigerian military drone strike during a religious festival in Tudunbiri killed 85 people, including seven-year-old Habeebah, the community continues to mourn. The military admitted to mistaking the gathering for a meeting of fighters. A new mosque was built on the bomb site as compensation, and the festival was held again earlier this year. Kaduna state governor Uba Sani promised to address the medical needs of the affected villagers.
