Indian security forces see high suicide rates and resignations due to personal and work pressures.

Over the past five years, 730 personnel from India's Central Armed Police Forces, National Security Guards, and Assam Rifles have died by suicide, while 55,555 have resigned or retired early. Common reasons include personal issues like family deaths, divorce, financial troubles, and children's education. To address this, the government plans to improve leave policies, regulate duty hours, and enhance overall welfare conditions.
