El Paso Water proposes waived fees for low use and a 7% rate hike to boost infrastructure.
El Paso Water is considering changes to its water rates, including potentially waiving a $14.60 monthly fee for customers using less than 2,900 gallons per month, which could save them about $175 annually. The utility also proposes a 7% rate increase, adding $5.71 to the typical monthly bill, to improve infrastructure and reliability. The Public Service Board will vote on the changes in early January.
