The Consunji Group has acquired a majority stake in Cemex Holdings Philippines, Inc. (CHP), the fourth-largest cement producer in the Philippines, for $272 million. This marks the group's entry into cement manufacturing. DMCI Holdings, Semirara Mining and Power Corp., and Dacon Corp. finalized the purchase. The acquisition aims to strengthen DMCI's ecosystem and boost production capacity to 7.2 million tons annually by 2025.
