Capcom is making substantial improvements to weapons like the lance, switch axe, insect glaive, and sword and shield in "Monster Hunter Wilds," based on beta feedback. Director Yuya Tokuda highlighted issues with the lance's controls, and producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed adjustments are in progress. The game, releasing February 28, 2025, also revisits the hitstop technique to enhance realism and weight of attacks.
