Wilma Castor, a 76-year-old inmate serving a life sentence for the 1996 murder of her ex-husband Thomas Brown, died at a Lincoln hospital. Castor, who was being treated for a medical condition at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women, was convicted twice after her initial sentence was overturned. The cause of her death is unknown, and a grand jury will investigate as standard procedure.
