Sculpture by the Sea in Perth cancelled for 2025 due to funding cuts from Creative Australia.

The Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Perth's Cottesloe Beach has been cancelled for 2025 due to a lack of funding from the federal arts agency Creative Australia. Since 2005, the event has attracted over 230,000 visitors annually and featured works by 596 artists from 44 countries. The event's founder, David Handley, hopes for government support to revive the exhibition in 2026.
