Massachusetts family donates 74-foot Christmas tree to Rockefeller Center in loved one's memory.

The Albert family from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, has donated their 74-foot-tall Norway Spruce, planted in 1967, to be the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York City. The tree, chosen by Rockefeller Center's head gardener Erik Pauze, is a tribute to the family's late matriarch, Lesley, who loved Christmas. After the holiday season, the tree will be milled into lumber for Habitat for Humanity to build homes. The family plans to honor Lesley with a memorial and new plantings.
