German explorer aims to break world record by living underwater off Panama for over 100 days.

German explorer Rudiger Koch is attempting to break the world record for the longest time spent living underwater. Currently living in a submerged capsule off Panama's coast, Koch aims to surpass 100 days submerged, already spending two months in his 30-square-meter underwater chamber equipped with modern amenities. His project, linked to the "seasteading" movement, also serves as an artificial reef, benefiting the local marine environment.
