Former CSIS official testifies agency sought to no-fly list Canadian citizen tied to terrorism.
A former CSIS official, David Vigneault, testified that the agency sought to put Abousfian Abdelrazik, a Sudanese-born Canadian citizen, on Canada's no-fly list. Abdelrazik was arrested in Sudan in 2003 and interrogated by CSIS over suspected terrorist links, despite denying involvement. He alleges torture by Sudanese authorities. Abdelrazik is suing the Canadian government over his detention and alleged mistreatment.
