WABC, seeing a surge in demand, seeks volunteers to expand boating activities for disabled individuals in 2025.

The Wallingford Accessible Boat Club (WABC) is expanding its operations and is looking for volunteers to help with boat trips, marketing, and fundraising. Serving disabled and less mobile individuals, WABC saw a 61% rise in passengers in 2024 and plans to offer more activities like fishing and nature watching in 2025. Despite 11 cancellations, the club conducted 89 voyages last year, a 37% increase, with 405 passengers. Free training is provided, and interested volunteers can contact John Jenkins or visit their website.
