Union secretary accused of retaliatory dismissals, breaching court order.

Diana Asmar, the Secretary of the Victorian Health Workers Union (HWU), is accused of breaching a court order by dismissing seven staff members, allegedly in retaliation against perceived "traitors." Asmar had promised in October not to alter staff employment or take disciplinary action. The national Health Services Union will push for her suspension in Federal Court, citing the recent standing down of two senior officials and the redundancy of five call center workers.
