On Monday morning, a crash on I-295 in Freeport, Maine, involved a Toyota and a Volkswagen. The Toyota rolled over after striking the Volkswagen, which then hit a guardrail. The Toyota driver was injured and taken to a hospital, while the Volkswagen driver declined medical attention. Traffic was backed up for two miles but was able to move past the scene using a merging lane from the Exit 22 on-ramp. Authorities responded to the scene.
