Tommaso Foti was sworn in as Italy's new Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion, and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, succeeding Raffaele Fitto who left to join the European Commission. Foti, praised by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for his experience, previously served as the Brothers of Italy party's House whip. Galeazzo Bignami will replace Foti in that role.
