Nigerian police ordered to investigate claims of excessive force during #EndBadGovernance protests.

Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has ordered an investigation into Amnesty International's claims that Nigerian police used excessive force and caused at least 24 deaths during the #EndBadGovernance protests in August. The police force denies the allegations, stating they followed rules of engagement and did not use live ammunition. State police commissioners must submit detailed reports within a week.
