Nigerian anti-corruption chief reports 70% of citizens refuse bribes, urges legislative action.

The Chairman of Nigeria's ICPC, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, reported that 70% of Nigerians declined bribes in 2023, with the North-west region showing the highest resistance at 76%. Aliyu urged State Attorneys General to collaborate in the fight against corruption and called for the National Assembly to pass the Whistleblower Act to encourage exposing corrupt practices. The conference highlighted the importance of collaboration and integrity in combating corruption.
