Harvard study: Eating more plant protein than animal protein cuts heart disease risk.

A Harvard study suggests that increasing plant-based protein intake over animal-based protein can significantly lower the risk of heart diseases. Analyzing data from nearly 203,000 participants over 30 years, the study found that a higher ratio of plant to animal protein, at least 1:2, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease by 19% and coronary heart disease by 27%. Replacing red and processed meats with plant proteins like nuts and legumes improves blood lipids, blood pressure, and inflammation, key factors in heart health.
