DSS sues SERAP for ₦5 billion over reputational damage from corruption probe claims.

The Department of State Services (DSS) is suing the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) for over ₦5 billion, alleging reputational damage after SERAP accused the DSS of invading its office following a letter calling for a corruption probe. SERAP insists it should be referred to as "Registered Incorporated Trustees of SERAP." The case is set for further arguments on February 10, 2025.
