Calgary's home sales ticked up in November, with prices rising despite a surge in inventory.

Calgary's November home sales saw a 0.8% increase to 1,797 homes, mostly due to more detached, semi-detached, and row homes. The benchmark price rose 3.5% to $587,900. Despite a 45% rise in inventory to 4,352 units, condominium sales decreased. Ann-Marie Lurie, CREB's chief economist, credits new construction for boosting supply, though improvements vary by location, price, and property type.
