Australian man fined for neglecting his sick dog, which led to its seizure by the RSPCA.

Barry Gordon from Orange, Australia, was convicted in absentia for neglecting his sick Staffordshire Terrier, which suffered from a vaginal prolapse. Gordon missed prior veterinary appointments, leading the RSPCA to seize the dog and provide treatment. Magistrate David Day fined him $1100 and ordered $6912.82 in costs. The dog was forfeited to the RSPCA.
